For health plans & insurers

Support members through the transition, at population scale.

MARKABLE helps members notice and self-monitor perimenopause-related wellness patterns from their own phone, and prepare for conversations with their own clinician. It reaches members far from a clinic, with no lab visit and no referral or pre-authorisation. The health-equity story an insurer or employer can stand behind.

Why it matters

One of the largest underserved groups in women's health.

Most women pass through the perimenopause transition, and most experience vasomotor symptoms during it. Against that backdrop, MARKABLE offers insurers, employers and health systems a private, non-invasive way to reach these women where they already are, on the phone in their hand.

MARKABLE gives members a simple way to stay aware of their own wellness patterns and arrive at their own clinician conversations prepared.

MARKABLE is a general wellness product, not a medical device, and does not replace diagnosis or medical care.

How it works

Member engagement, at population scale.

MARKABLE runs on the phone members already carry, so a plan can offer it across the whole population, including members who live far from a clinic.

01

Members start from their own phone.

A selfie and a seven-minute check, at home, on any smartphone. There is no lab visit and no referral or pre-authorisation to complete first.

02

Five wellness signals, one picture.

Facial biomarkers, cognition, hearing, vision and symptoms are read together into one structured, longitudinal wellness summary the member can follow over time.

03

She arrives prepared for her own clinician.

The member brings a clear, structured wellness picture to the conversation she chooses to have, so the visit starts informed rather than from a blank page.

04

Reach that scales across the population.

Because it runs on a device members already own, a plan can offer MARKABLE to everyone, with no hardware to ship and no clinic appointment to book.

Health equity

A smartphone reaches members a clinic rarely does.

Monitoring a hormonal transition through the traditional path can mean a clinic appointment, a blood draw, a referral or pre-authorisation, transportation and time away from work. MARKABLE asks for a smartphone and about seven minutes, at home, on the member's own schedule.

The members who are hardest to reach in a clinic are often the first a smartphone reaches at home. That is the equity story an insurer or employer can stand behind.
The platform

Five wellness signals, one member profile.

MARKABLE reads five wellness signals and fuses them into a single longitudinal wellness profile per member. Here is what each signal reads, and why it belongs in the picture.

01

Facial biomarkers

A single selfie reads a rich set of markers across the eye region, facial structure and volume, cutaneous texture, tone and the hairline, the morphological signals associated with the hormonal transition.

Facial
02

Cognition

Short on-phone games read processing speed, word retrieval, working memory and recall, the cognitive domains associated with hormonal change.

Cognitive
03

Hearing

Sound tasks read auditory processing, one of the sensory systems associated with the transition.

Sensory
04

Vision

Contrast and color tasks read visual processing, a second independent sensory signal.

05

Symptoms

70+ symptom domains, captured structured, surface the patterns a woman rarely reports on her own.

Research & validation

Built on real data, from real women.

In our pilot, the fused model reached an AUC of 0.87. It is early and observational, and we say so plainly. The current model fuses facial, symptom and cognitive signals across more than seventy symptom domains, and the research grows with every check. A paper is in preparation for peer review, and full validation detail is available on request.

Questions

Questions from health plan leaders

Is MARKABLE a medical device? +
No. MARKABLE is a general wellness product for personal awareness and self-monitoring, in line with FDA, MHRA (UK) and Israeli MOH general-wellness guidance. It is not a screening or diagnostic service and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Does MARKABLE reduce medical costs or claims? +
No. MARKABLE is a general wellness product and does not claim to reduce medical costs or claims. We report member engagement and self-reported wellness trends only, in quarterly aggregate summaries.
How do you measure success? +
Through engagement and awareness metrics: member enrollment, check completion, repeat use over time, and self-reported wellness trends across the cohort. All reporting to the plan is aggregate and de-identified.
Who owns the member data? +
The member owns her data. Health plans receive only aggregate, de-identified engagement and wellness insights. Individual-level data is not shared without the member's explicit consent, except as required by law.
How is MARKABLE priced for a plan? +
MARKABLE is typically offered on a per-member-per-month (PMPM) basis, scoped to plan size and engagement goals. Pilot-based pricing is also available. We can prepare a proposal for your member population on request.
How does this fit our systems? +
For a pilot, no integration is needed. Members access MARKABLE through a private web link. For a scaled deployment, integration pathways, including API and FHIR/HL7, can be scoped with your technical team.
Can we run a pilot? +
Yes. We offer structured pilots with a defined cohort, engagement metrics and timeline. A typical pilot runs with a few hundred members over three to six months, with a dedicated point of contact.
What clinical evidence exists? +
In our early observational pilot the fused model reached an AUC of 0.87. It is early, and we say so plainly. A paper is in preparation for peer review, and full methodology is available on request. Prospective validation studies are in planning.
